About Us
Dr. Malia Sherman

Over 16 years of experience
Dr. Sherman is a licensed psychologist with over 16 years of forensic experience.
She has completed over 800 forensic mental health evaluations and has testified in many court cases.
She is a Superior Court contracted evaluator for Fresno, Madera, Merced, Tulare, Mariposa, and Kings Counties.
Prior to opening Starfish Psychology Services, Dr. Sherman worked for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), where she interviewed, assessed, and treated hundreds of mentally ill offenders.
She also taught graduate school for many years.
